Paper Inventory Management System (PIMS)

EPIC SOLUTIONS has a client base that chooses to utilize our paper procurement and paper inventory management system (PIMS).  This allows our clients to purchase their paper mill direct at a reduced cost, secure quarterly and annual paper allocations while purchasing their print from their current printing partners on a manufacturing cost basis only.  The result is obtaining an overall reduced cost for their print advertising budget.  With this service, EPIC SOLUTIONS purchases the desired paper stock, delivers to the client’s printing facilities and monitors the usage and spoilage through our paper inventory management system.

Paper is the largest single cost in printing.  Often paper will account for 45-50% of your print quote and you have no control over the price.  EPIC SOLUTIONS gives our clients back that control.  For jobs that print on a frequent basis, EPIC SOLUTIONS will maintain a paper inventory at the printing facility.  Based upon the product that is being printed, EPIC’s system will calculate the pounds of paper that should be allocated for the production including the spoilage. All of the inventory management, including ordering, monitoring levels and reporting back to you what has been used and what you have remaining is done at no charge to you.  When an inventory drops below a predetermined level, an order can automatically be placed and shipped directly to the printing facility ensuring that there is always ample paper on hand to produce your job.
